New 4 Cylinder Turbo Machine to BMW Z4 in U.S

Auto Trend - BMW announced that they will offer the Z4 model firstly in the United States are equipped with four-cylinder turbo engine. This marks the first time in recent decades BMW bring four cylinder engines to the U.S. market.

The latest BMW Z4 named sDrive28i Roadster equipped
with 2.0-liter turbo engine four-cylinder in line that could produce 240 hp at 5000 rpm with 352 Nm of torsional strength which can already be achieved at 1250 rpm.

Engine output is obtained due to a combination of the use of fuel-system supply direct injection, BMW's Valvetronic valve settings and twin-scroll turbocharger type capable of presenting a V6 engine with equivalent power I4 engine efficiency.

BMW estimates that the application of these technologies can increase fuel efficiency by 20% compared to existing machines. 6-speed automatic transmission is also very helpful Z4 to achieve maximum efficiency.
